Part 1 on the wetlands critters is here. I’m still waiting for some plants to bloom, such as the thistle, but there’s now a lot of color at the wetlands to enjoy. The wild roses are particularly nice this year, so I’m going to do a separate post about them.
YarrowI’m not sure what this is, but the lighting on it caught my attention.Kousa dogwood, originally from East Asia, is somewhat different from the native flowering dogwood.Brown-eyed SusanI’ve loved Queen Anne’s Lace since I was a kid and first saw it while spending summers with my grandparents in Pennsylvania.
