The weather has been so nice lately I’ve been taking more pictures than I can keep up with. (Now I’ve probably jinxed it, and we’ll have rain for a week! :-D I guess that would be an excuse to read the stack of books waiting for me, though.) I’ve gone to a couple of new parks lately where I’ve seen some flowers I haven’t yet seen in this area, and that’s always fun.
Crab apple blossoms. They’re on a tree outside the window by my desk, and I’ve been grateful to look at them during long hours at my computer with five online classes.Yellow Rocket. I love how even a common weed seems beautiful. They’re edible as well, just in case the grocery store is out of greens. :)Goslings! I’ve never seen them so little. If they weren’t with their parents, I would have assumed they were ducklings.Wild poppy. These were the first I’ve seen around here, but they were in an area I haven’t been to before. In contrast (literally) to the last poppy is this image. I love getting high-contrast shots like this where the subject is somewhat transparent and backlit, and the background is in shadow.Trillium. They’re popping up all over the woods these days with their three leaves and three petals.Bluebells. These were kind enough to be growing on a slope so I could get a picture of their insides.
There are more, but that’s probably enough for one post. I’m sure I’ll get caught up at some point!
Very pretty. I like the bluebells and poppies the best.

Thanks, the poppies are my favorite out of this set, too.
